Can we bring our existing sensors?
Yes. Any TWAIN-compatible device is supported, confirmed case-by-case during onboarding if it's not already on the standard list.
Which sensors and intraoral cameras does Archy support?
Recommended brands include Schick, Nanopix, Dexis, and Carestream for sensors, and Mouthwatch for intraoral cameras.
Can I save an image comparison for later?
Yes. Comparisons organized by mount or by tooth label save straight to the patient's document center.
Does Archy store CBCT or 3D files natively?
No. Large CBCT and 3D files open through a bridge that launches native CBCT software; the files themselves live in that separate viewer, not in Archy's own storage.
Is Archy DICOM compliant?
Yes. Archy fully supports DICOM standards, making it easy to export, share, and archive high-resolution images with external specialists, labs, or insurance providers while keeping patient metadata intact.
Is my patient image data secure?
Yes. Archy is SOC-2 and HIPAA compliant, so every image you capture stays in that same secure, compliant environment.
Is Archy's imaging FDA cleared?
Yes. Archy Dental Imaging holds its own FDA 510(k) clearance as a Class II medical image management and processing system, designed to provide images for diagnostic use. Pearl AI, built into the suite, carries its own separate FDA clearance.
